Oh my goodness! I wish I could give this poem more than five stars! You spoke directly to me.
I love the way the simple act of walking leads to philosophical thoughts and some nostalgia. The language is simple but the thoughts are profound and the connection between the small action of a walk and the larger action of living life is brilliantly depicted.
I lost my Dad in November and he used to go for walks up until he could - and I need to start doing that. You really could have written this poem for me.
The title, brief description, cover picture and verse structure work well.
Some small suggestions:
1. Pick more genres, like 'Philosophical' or 'Inspirational'
2. Use some WritingMl like font, size, line-space
3. The word 'today's' needs an apsotrophe.
