A Minos Mistake [E] You're only as good as your last failure - a 24 syllable poem - contest entry |
Greetings, Ned . I'm Jace, and I have the honor of reading and reviewing your offering "A Minos Mistake" for the "~ The Poet's Place Cafe~" group. Form. You wrote a 24-syllable poem for a contest. I'd not heard of such a format before. But then I cannot claim any great knowledge of poetry since I dabble in it sparingly. I counted; you are spot on with your syllables. Overall Impression. As for your poem itself--I loved it. Being a lover of mythology, especially Greek (not so much Roman), I enjoyed reading your well-crafted poem. So true, how fickle history can be toward an event. Technical or Editorial Considerations. I invite your attention to the comments below. Please bear in mind these notes are from one on the outside looking in; ultimately only you can decide what's right for your poem. I found no issues from this section. Well done. Rating. 5.0. Thank you for sharing this offering. Please accept these comments as offered in friendship and support. They are but my humble opinions.
