Did you know that you could have entered this in my Lucky Limerick contest? At least I think so. I should re-read my rules lol. But I think anything written since the previous contest is allowed. So any you write from April 1 of this year through March of next year can be entered next year, should you so desire and should the contest stay open. Just something to keep in mind. We had sixty nine entries this year! But I think our guest judge would have liked this one a lot.

I enjoy all of your limerick poems and this one lived up to your reputation as a funny limerick writer.


I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your limerick poem.


Your poem was interesting to me, felt like it was coming straight from an unfortunate elderly man's real life, and reminded me to check your port for limericks in the future.
