Very charming at first, and then there is that incident at the end... I didn't see it coming! I hadn't heard of mpotompoto before, so I did a Google search and it looks very tasty! I could just picture you and your cousins sitting near your grandmother's pot, filled with anticipation for such a lovely meal. I have found that even if the ingredients were nothing special, there's something about the way that grandmothers cook that makes it a higher level of tasty. Of course, that's without a Black Ninja's added ingredient! No wonder you lost your taste for mpotompoto. Poor grandmother... I liked how you described life in the village. It gave us a wonderful look back into your past. There are some lovely descriptions. I could imagine everyone bundled onto the floor together. All in all, I think that you did a good job here, and I understand very well why you were the co-winner of this prompt. Well done! Suggestions: I have no real suggestions here, dear author. There's a missing line space before the final paragraph, but otherwise everything is great. I could see no issues with spelling, or grammar, or punctuation. Again, excellent work!
