Found [E] Poem of reflection written on Good Friday |
A "Game of Thrones" review from The views and opinions on this review are mainly the things discovered by the reader and therefore, do not reflect necessarily to the group, activity and/or event being affiliated herein. This is only the opinion and suggestions of the reviewer and it is still up to the author of this piece to consider this review as a corrective action or otherwise. Hello Christopher Day First impression: This poem was uploaded once and never edited. That is an amazing feat as I always find something to fix after I make a new item. The title and intro line that explains that this poem was written on Good Friday help to set the stage for this piece. Even before seeing the genres, I understood this was going to be religious. What works: The stanzas are broken apart in ways that help with the reading of the poem. The font size is well chosen and large enough to keep the eyes tracking the text easily on the screen. The whole text is very clean in terms of spelling and grammar. Although this is a poem, there are no liberties taken with any writing rules. That time when all caps is employed, it helps to give meaning to those words as it happens toward the end and ties the whole thing together in a sort of victory cry that celebrates the feeling of being found, which also ties back to the title. Final thoughts: It always fascinates me when I see others experiencing their religion and clearly finding a lot of comfort in these old texts and stories. The story of Good Friday is quite gory, but I can see how this part of Jesus's life is so important to review regularly since it's the part that really jump-started the New Testament. My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
