The Best of my Portfolio [E] Looking for something to read? These are my best stories and more... |
A "Game of Thrones" review from The views and opinions on this review are mainly the things discovered by the reader and therefore, do not reflect necessarily to the group, activity and/or event being affiliated herein. This is only the opinion and suggestions of the reviewer and it is still up to the author of this piece to consider this review as a corrective action or otherwise. Hello Maryann First impression: This item facilitates a deep dive into your portfolio and helps visitors to know immediately where you would like to be noticed, read, and reviewed the most. What works: The subsections in which you have divided your items help out to get a good first filter as to where to read or interact or just celebrate with you like in items like your Merit Badge Tally. What needs work: There isn't anything that needs work per se. It could be an idea to create a sort of "Hit List" within each category. You have listed a lot of items and it stands to reason that the first one is the most important to you, but that can't be known. You could create a highlight section for the first three of top five in each area that you want people to go to first. You could also add statistics to some pieces that have seen the least interaction to drive traffic there. Some of the items on the page, like auctions, are currently not open. You could set those to "hide" or remove them from this page since the page is called "The Best of my Portfolio," it should encourage interaction with ongoing items. Final thoughts: Whenever I see a page such as this one, I feel compelled to do some housekeeping in my own portfolio and direct visitors to the places that I really want to be seen. Your page here inspires me to tackle that after Game of Thrones is over. My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
