Hallo and Welcome to Writing Dot Com! *Smile*

I love the comparison you make ... the various parts of the tree to aspects of growing up. You've brought out skillfully and emotionally the effect of childhood trauma on a person's entire life. The last two lines pack a real punch.

Some typos:
1. Line 4 - 'Seems' - I think you mean 'Seem', since it refers to 'branches' which is plural.
2. Line 8 - 'threw' - I think you mean 'through'.

Also, you've combined 'soon enough' with 'eventually', which suggest different lengths of time.

I'm not sure if you need the last question mark.

Thank you for sharing this poem with us. I'm sure many readers will relate to the sentiments you express here.

Write On!

PS - I'll be changing the Content Rating to 'ASR' since you mention childhood trauma. You'll get an email about this separately.
