I wondered if this was some kind of form poem? The repeated lines mostly made me wonder. Other than that it felt like a free verse poem to me as I read it.

I wondered if you lived in Montana or had just visited Granite Peak before writing this poem? I'll have to re-visit your biography and see if you mention it there.

My favorite part was these three lines:
"Icy winds blow down her sides,
To steal your breath
Even in the summer’s sun." I think they felt the most dramatic to me.

I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your biographical adventure poem.
