This is a potent poem, especially those who were there, on June 6th, 1944 (although I'm certain that many who have had to do similar things will be able to relate to this sort of moment). A soldier tries to get to his destination, fighting the enemy while a number of his brothers fall. Will he be able to make it, or will he be among those that never see tomorrow? Only time can tell.
