It's a poem about a depressed lover. Most probably his appeal was severely rejected from the other side which made him mourn. He decides to cut all connections to her. It's a combination of both his sadness and helplessness. But, he never her beauty. He tried hard to unlock her heart's door but failed. Her heart is made of stone. It's very tough to convince her. But, the try should go on.
But, now there is no shine of hope. Everything is completely dark.
It's truly a beautiful poem. We can read the teller's mind properly.
It is a brilliant beginning.
Keep writing.
