*PenB* First Impressions:

As I read the first paragraph, I knew exactly where this story would be going. I’ve never tried that coffee myself (I’m not made of money, lol) but since I’m a coffee addict, I’ve heard of it. So this story couldn’t possibly hold any surprises for me. Or so I thought.

I loved the part where they went all out to serve the coffee, with the saucer, the doily, the cup and the napkin. At this point, I had a very good image of the narrator in my head and I could see him getting a little impatient, even annoyed when Kopi sat down to join him. And who could blame him? At those prices, I wouldn’t want to share my coffee either. It was worth it though. The tale that followed was priceless.

*PenG* Suggestions:

The story was very polished and I didn’t notice any errors, so I’m going to rave about a particularly good paragraph instead. I laughed out loud at the explanation of the Eastern Wampus and the Western Wampus, so called because they can only run in one direction or they fall over due to their legs being shorter on one side. The main character’s reaction, "You're kidding me, right?" was hilarious. I prefer this story to what is actually happening with the animals who are producing these expensive coffee beans!

*PenP* Final Thoughts:

I loved how you mixed fact and fiction in this tale. The details of how the coffee is produced are, to my knowledge, quite accurate, and there the main character came to decide if he could stomach it. It seemed that he liked the taste of it as he finished the pot before he knew where it came from, and he couldn’t possibly upset Kopi! A good story *Smile*

Come on in and join the fun!
