An Angel Army Review

Hi Ra Morgan Author Icon.

I'm JACE Author Icon, and I have the honor of reading and reviewing your offering "Inattentive ADDOpen in new Window..

I invite your attention to the comments below. Please bear in mind these notes are from one on the outside looking in; ultimately only you can decide what's right for your story.

*Note1*
Overall Impression. I finally had some time to read your latest addition. I see you've already received a review. Just remember that each review is just one person's opinion at that point in time. As is mine.

First think, I liked your title. It represents the essence of your essay very well. Though I suspect the acronym ADD is very well known, I've always felt it better to NOT take that knowledge for granted. Perhaps you might place a short Author's Note at the bottom of your essay stating what ADD stands for.

What you've put to paper is representative of how many people feel. Whether you call it a form of ADD ... or just procrastination, it's perhaps a fine line between the two. The bottom line is do you actually study for your classes? I submit that you do. But as you write, it's just easier to do something that is more fun.

Personally, whether for business or not, I find I procrastinate by doing something fun. Reality, however, rears its head and I have to do the actual work. You recognize this with your statement: After I’m done, and only then, can I see how stupid of me it was to waste my time.

But, we need downtime to recharge and revitalize our minds. Don't be upset about needing that. Such downtime is critical for you. Just don't let it take over your life. Set a deadline for something fun and stick to it.

Technical and Editorial Considerations. In this section I normally list those areas that relate specifically to the mechanics of your writing--punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc.

*Bullet*  I found the following sentence a bit awkward to read. This is a very passive sentence. A suggestion follows:
Sent to me are the strong, strong desires for adventure.  Strong desires for adventure and fun take over my mind.

*Star*
My Rating.  4.5.  Good job; keep writing.

*Heart*
Thank you for sharing this offering. Please accept these comments as offered in friendship and support. They are but my humble opinion.
