Poem Tale of the Struggle for Palestine [E] Poetry evokes emotions. Perhaps when the world turns a blind eye to horrors in Palestine. |
Greetings and welcome to writing.com. It is with a heavy heart I welcome you here, for you have chosen to bring us a weighty subject to discuss. Mostly, we on WdC prefer to keep ourselves in a sheltered bubble of self-absorbed fiction, away from the strife and division which could tear us apart. This is a diverse community, and part of the reason we all get along so well is because we hide from the real world… at least it seems that way to me. I have nothing but respect for your work. It shows us a glimpse of the untold trauma and lain being inflicted each day in Gaza, and no one should be able to ignore it and blindly blame the victims for bringing it upon themselves. The style here is easy to read, drawing us along with steady repetition and a sense of desperation and frustration at the back and forth between the reporter and the narrator. What can be done about such a situation other than to pray and be aware? The poignant message of “we remain to teach life” is haunting. There is hope wherever there is life. I wish there was something more I could do than to offer my prayers. Take care, thanks for sharing and keep writing My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
