I’m so glad to see you and read this heartfelt poem. Your voice shines through and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

This theme is so important, yet not spoken about enough. We need to take stock of ourselves and our treatment of the Earth… in fact, I recently wrote a blog post about a beloved song on a similar topic "Truth to Power" Open in new Window. I love your use of emojis as a universal language to add interest to the dialogue.

Now, for the super minor formatting issues which I think you should tidy up…

1. Punctation: commas, periods, question marks, exclamation points, etc, are always pressed up against the word they are modifying. You have spaces between your words and your commas, as well as some of your quotation marks.

2. The phrase is “will realize,” not in the past tense.

3. When referring to the planet, I believe Earth should always be uppercase E as a proper name.

4. On WdC, you can modify font size, color and style by selecting the text as if preparing for copy-paste and clicking on the line of boxes above the text entry form. The three S’s are size, the rainbow is color, and the script F is font style. I recommend Size 4 Verdana.

5. When you say “humans are not kind,” I see a play on the word “humankind,” but the word “kind” should not be an uppercase K in English.
