I read this "A Little Girl" poem of yours sometime in the past and enjoyed it, but didn't have time to review it right then, so I flagged it for an anniversary review (meaning I saved the link to it in a special "November" file. ). I absolutely loved the spirit of this poem and the ending made me smile widely both times that I read it. Yay!

I suspect that this "A Little Girl" poem of yours would make a lovely children's book. Not sure if you have design skills or know someone who does, but I could almost picture the pages as I read your again poem tonight.

My favorite line was the last one because it was inspirational and a fun, empowering, and great way to end your poem.

I thought you did a great job with the rhyming and loved the message of your poem.

I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your "A Little Girl" poem.

It's not about your writing, just a suggestion that you add a third genre, perhaps inspirational, to your poem, so more people are likely to see and read it. If you wanted to swap out other for something like "nature" or "career," that might help too. I don't think anyone searches for "other" by genre, but I have heard that people search for the more traditional genres and, while children's is certainly most appropriate, wouldn't it be great to have readers looking for inspiration too? That's just my two cents though.

As with any review, please take what serves you and release or ignore what doesn't.
