*CakeB* HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary ReviewsOpen in new Window.*CakeP*

Hello, S, aka stevengepp!

INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW:

*Bulletg* I enjoyed reading your NaNo blog every time I read it, this year and last year, including today.

*Bulletg* Your writing kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end almost every day, even today, when I'm totally tired from NaNo and other life things myself.

MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK:

*Bulleto* Happy Writing.Com Anniversary month! I saved the link to your general blog in a special "December" file. *Smile* so I would remember to come back and actually review some entries this month. I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here and find the review uplifting and encouraging.

*Bulleto* You are so much better at logging numbers and details than I am. I have no idea what all I did, item by item for November. I think you probably came out with more publishable things though. Either way, super well done! 181,833 words in a month is amazing! And to think, you wouldn't have done this for yourself. You did it to help a friend. That makes it so much the more admirable, in my mind. And, in advance, please excuse my grammar and other mistakes. As I mentioned, I'm tired. *Smile* But I wanted to at least give you a review! You blogged every day for our community, and I think I read your posts every day. It was fun and interesting for me to follow your journey.

*Bulleto* I suspect that most writers would be jealous of your word count, but in other blog posts, you've shared that you don't actually type that fast. You just write a lot. You spend a lot of time actually writing. And that's, in my opinion, the major difference between people with amazing productivity and those without it. Time spent writing. You have more talent than the average person, I suspect, but we all can improve with practice.

*Bulleto* You not only listed everything you wrote that's publishable, but did it from smallest to largest, in order of word count. Amazing. I love that you shared your spreadsheet here, not only once, but twice. I made my own version. I didn't stick to using it, but it's there if I ever feel so motivated. I write a lot of poetry and mostly I think it'd take me longer to do the spreadsheet than it would to write more poems, so I just keep writing and figure I'll get organized ... someday. *Smile* I do know where my current novel and last year's novel are.. and all of my Chicken Soup for the Soul stories. At least there's that. How do you organize all your files? If you have a blog post on that, please share the link. If not, I'd love to read it in the future. I know I don't comment often but I do read and appreciate most of your posts.

*Bulleto* Also, relating to a previous post, I don't know why anyone has the audacity to tell you that you write "wrong." Your system works for you. And really, other than the record keeping, I think my system is very similar. I did prep but didn't end up using much of it beyond the character stuff. I prefer being a pantster. Works great for me for short stories... not so great for novels, which is why I haven't actually published one, but I'm digressing. The point is that YOU are indeed a multi-published (many times over) author and I 100% agree with you that it is wrong for folks to tell you that the way you write is wrong. Because it clearly works for you. So, please continue to ignore the naysayers, because I think most people here who pay attention to you, really appreciate you. I do!

*Bulleto* I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your blog post.

*Bulleto* I thought the personal, writing, and educational genres you selected were appropriate for this blog post (and overall blog) of yours.

IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER:
I would love to have something great to share here, but I think it's wonderful as it is. Well done! *Clap*

As with any review, please take what serves you and release or ignore what doesn't. Especially please ignore my mistakes, haha!

CONCLUSION:
*Bulletv* I enjoyed reading your NaNo summary blog post, and was super impressed with all that you accomplished this month. Very well done!

*Bulletv* Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, knowledge, viewpoint, experiences, and writing with the Writing.Com community!

*Bulletv* Once again, happy anniversary month! I hope the year ahead is filled with success and joy for you, and healing for your friend!

May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance!
PWheeler

PS If there were a star rating, I'd give this five stars.
