HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary Reviews" Hello, S, aka stevengepp! INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW: I enjoyed reading your blog post today! It's so very rare that I get to do anniversary reviews on the day the item was written, and very nice. Yay for us both. Your writing kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end. MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK: Happy Writing.Com Anniversary month! I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here and find the review uplifting and encouraging. I love that you are already working on a new novel! Do you have an article on tips for succeeding with first person? I like it because it feels more fast-paced though I have no idea how I'd do it, in the situation you described here. You do have a lot more fiction writing experience than I do, so I'm sure you will make it work and it'll be just what your readers love to read. I suspect that your new novel will be exciting to read and hope it gets written and purchased by a great publisher and published quickly. The last line made me feel both happy and sad. Happy that you have such a great coping mechanism, yet sad that it is necessary to avoid reality. I sure hope things change and you can be in a safer and more dependable situation with all of your needs met. I hope your friend is healing well and that you two can continue to communicate. This is more about yesterday's blog post of yours than today's, but I really admire you for doing NaNo for her and encouraging her in all the ways that you do. A lot of people wouldn't put in that kind of effort for a friend who is overseas. You really care about her and it shows in not only word but also in action. I suspect you are a great encouragement and comfort to her. I did give your linked poem "CHRISTMAS HERE AND THERE" a quick read and liked it and added it to my December anniversary review file for a future review. A quick thing I want to mention is if you arranged it in a form (Christmas tree looks easiest to me... but any form qualifies, I think), you could add it to the Bard's Hall Contest. Though I seem to remember that you're not really into entering contests after typing all that... I'll leave it, just in case I'm wrong or you changed your mind. I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your blog post or your poem. I thought the personal, writing, and educational genres you selected were appropriate for this blog post (and overall blog) of yours. IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER: I would love to have something great to share here, but I think it's wonderful as it is. Well done! As with any review, please take what serves you and release or ignore what doesn't. CONCLUSION: I enjoyed reading your blog post, and was glad that you are continuing with your daily posts, even after such a strenuous November writing month. Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, knowledge, experiences, and writing with the Writing.Com community! Once again, happy anniversary month! I hope the year ahead is filled with success and joy for you, and healing for your friend! May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance! PWheeler A SuperPower Reviewers Choice review!
