HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary Reviews" Hello, Santeven Quokklaus, aka stevengepp! INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW: I enjoyed reading your "Epistolary Writing" blog post today and found it to be informative and interesting. Your writing kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end. MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK: Happy Writing.Com Anniversary month! I skimmed this "Epistolary Writing" blog post of yours earlier today and enjoyed it, but didn't have time to review it right then, so I flagged it for an anniversary review (meaning I saved the link to it in a special "December" file. ). I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here and find the review uplifting and encouraging. I had to look up one of your example books, and it was worth the extra time because it made the rest you said about it make sense. I know, from this and other blog posts of yours, that you read a more varied and different kind of things than I tend to, outside of the classics. That might be part of why I like your blog posts so much. I get introduced to new things I might not otherwise, and you're not all preachy or anything. Just sharing what you think, which is great for a reader like me. I suspect that most writers have read "Epistolary Writing" whether they realize it or not. I think the first example for me, was the Bible, and then the second that I noticed, was "Confessions of a Shopaholic," which was possibly the funniest book I've ever read. It included letters and emails and other such writings, but it was only part of the story, not the whole story. It did contribute to the hilarity though. I tried to write a novel in a similar vein but I quickly scrapped it as I was rubbish at all the different voices required. That is a talent, as you mention in your blog post. Maybe with practice, like have two, then three. But I was going for way too many. Anyway, it's harder than it looks. My favorite part, as usual, was the examples. Though I really liked your end line too. Why not try? "What have you got to lose?" I thought you did a great job with the blog post as a whole. It flowed naturally and made logical sense. I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your "Epistolary Writing" blog post. I thought the personal, writing, and educational genres you selected were appropriate for this blog post (and overall blog) of yours. IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER: I would love to have something great to share here, but I think it's wonderful as it is. Well done! As with any review, please take what serves you and release or ignore what doesn't. CONCLUSION: I enjoyed reading your "Epistolary Writing" blog post, and appreciated that you took the time to write it and share it here. Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, knowledge, experiences, and writing with the Writing.Com community! Once again, happy anniversary month! I hope the year ahead is filled with blessings and joy for you! May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance! PWheeler A SuperPower Reviewers Choice review!
