*CakeB* HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary ReviewsOpen in new Window.*CakeP*

Hello, Nikola ~ Coffee Drinking Lady, aka nmarshall!

INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW:

*Bulletg* I enjoyed reading your "Scrapbooking" poem today. It made me smile.

*Bulletg* Your writing kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end.

MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK:

*Bulleto* Happy Writing.Com Anniversary month! I read this "Scrapbooking" poem of yours sometime in the past and enjoyed it, but didn't have time to review it right then, so I flagged it for an anniversary review (meaning I saved the link to it in a special "January" file. *Smile* ). I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here and find the review uplifting and encouraging.

*Bulleto* I liked your colorful thumbnail picture. I personally haven't used ribbons in my very limited scrapbooking experience, but I have seen it done well by others. Nice touch.

*Bulleto* I loved your description. I think that's what made me read your poem the first time. It felt fun and exciting.

*Bulleto* Your poem was well written and full of fun scrapbooking tips. I loved how you included ideas for different resources, methods, and processes. I appreciated that you made the activity feel social and engaging to do for a wide variety of people. I also liked that you included a line on journaling in your scrapbook. This is both an entertaining and an educational poem that you have clearly lovingly crafted for us to enjoy. Thank you.

*Bulleto* I liked the different colors you used for the word "colors," and thought that added an extra bit of fun and playfulness to your poem about a fun hobby.

*Bulleto* My favorite line was "then sprinkle stickers all around!" maybe because of the rhyme, but probably because stickers are my favorite part of scrapbooking. I love stickers so much a friend tried to convince me to design them and have an Etsy store for them.

*Bulleto* I thought your rhyming added to the fun of the poem and it felt natural and flowed well with the message of your "Scrapbooking" poem!

*Bulleto* I didn't notice any spelling mistakes in your "Scrapbooking" poem.

*Bulleto* I thought the hobby / craft, arts, and entertainment genres you selected for this poem were appropriate selections for it.

IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER:

In the spirit of helpfulness, and because of the requirements of a new reviewing challenge I joined recently, I have three little suggestions to make your piece stronger. If you're interested in some constructive criticism, read on. But if you aren't, no worries. Just know that I enjoyed your piece and move on to the next section.

Still reading? You're brave! Yay for you! *Clap*

*Bulletb* I paused after "ahh" when reading this line, so I'm thinking it needs a comma there. Here's the line as it is now:
"friends "ooh" and "ahh" doing their part."
If you added the comma, it would look like this:
"friends "ooh" and "ahh," doing their part."
You might check a grammar book to be sure of the rule there. I'm not a grammar expert.

*Bulleto* It's always nice for me as a reader to have the form and line count listed below the poem, perhaps in a "notes" section. I don't know how long it took me to start doing that, but once I did, readers responded favorably. So I'd recommend adding that information beneath your poem.

*Bulleto* I wondered if this poem was written spontaneously for fun or for a specific contest or challenge? If it was for a contest or challenge here, it'd be neat to add that information so future readers can check it out.

As with any review, please take what serves you and release or ignore what doesn't.

CONCLUSION:

*Bulletv* I enjoyed reading your "A Note of Thanks" poem, and empathized with your sentiments that you expressed in it.

*Bulletv* Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, heart, experiences, and writing with the Writing.Com community!

*Bulletv* Once again, happy anniversary month! I hope the year ahead is filled with blessings and joy for you!

May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance during this New Year, your anniversary month, and always!

PWheeler
