This is kind of cool for a poem. I can't say I follow it completely through but I do pick up on a kind of theme of things not worth discarding being wasted. I also pick up on a theme of death and decomposition. It is a fairly complex and nuanced poem for a person's very first successful attempt you should be very proud of yourself. I Think a dropnote including what prompted you to write this poem would be a nice addition, if you had a particular form in mind you might include that in the drop note.
