A rather interesting, and difficult, poem to read. It tells the tale of a type of a rather special sort of deception, where there is an abusive partner (and possibly abusive parent). To all outside the house, the person seems normal, loving even. But, behind closed doors, that's when the monster comes out to play its horrible games.
