COVID certainly disrupted people's plans for quite a while. I like your version of a "staycation".

My Favorite Part(s)

My mom is an avid bird watcher. I like the descriptions of the different birds you describe. The funniest is the robin, with its fat red belly hopping around. I also like the majestic heron. I would say for me, a favorite is the pilated woodpecker. He is huge with a bright red crest. Have you seen one?

Now that Covid is "over" do you still enjoy watching birds? Thank you for sharing your staycation with me. I'm glad to have read it.
