Comparing roses to vampires. Well, I don't know about vampires, but I've had my blood drawn by more than a few rose bushes. Lovely flowers, but wicked thorns. Some will even spread like crazy, be they of wild or hardy cultivated rootstock sorts, or just a hardy bush. One will always be surprised with different roses, especially when they try their luck at grafting.
