Sirius-ly.

Fun poem, Sam, but I must confess, it is more of a vocabulary lesson for me than a poem, if the words in italics are any example. I know the constellation names/stars in verse #1, but regarding the last lines of verses 2 & 3, I'm only familiar with the word, Love. (I say, "familiar with" since I'm consistent, but still not perfect at it, after nearly 40 years of married bliss.)

This poem is comprised of three sestets with no rhyme scheme, making it free verse, it would appear.

Nice connection between the night sky and emotions. We know what we're looking for, but if the clouds appear in either realm, then finding them can indeed be most elusive.

Well composed. WRITE ON!
