About This Newsletter

Hermeticism is an ancient Egyptian philosophy, though many believe the Egyptians borrowed the beliefs from a much older civilization. Vibration is one of the principles of Hermeticism. Modern science has proven this ancient belief system to be valid today.

Letter from the editor

The principle of vibration within Hermetic teachings states that everything vibrates. Modern scientific tools, such as more powerful microscopes, have proven this to be true. Even the table you are sitting at is made up of molecules that vibrate, which can only be seen under a powerful microscope. They just vibrate at a lower frequency, which makes it appear to be still and solid.

Sound has vibration. Through sound we can manipulate water.

Even our emotions have vibration. A Japanese scientist by the name of Masaru Emoto studied the impact of emotions on water and found that various emotions directed at water actually changed the molecular structure of the liquid.

Now, contemplate the fact that our bodies are made-up of approximately 60 percent water. It is easy to conclude negative and positive emotions can alter the molecules within our bodies and in others around us.

The first step for us as individuals to change our own vibrations is through self-love. The first step in self-love is forgiveness of self. Often times we are our own enemy, allowing our mistakes, rather than our attributes, to define us. Allow your good qualities to shine, and accept praise. Practice saying kind things to yourself without the but at the end. When we learn to do this we spread these good vibrations to others.

Are you able to praise your own attributes without the but at the end? Or do you say something good about yourself and feel you have to balance it out with a negative trait? What vibrations do you share with those closest to you and those you casually pass by?
