Interaction. Participation. Experience.
You can choose any one of these nouns ... or a myriad of others to describe what makes Writing.Com such a successful site. So why did you join WDC? Are you trying to decide whether to just keep a Free account, or to upgrade to a level with more features?
Seasoned members know about a reference that can be very helpful in determining how to get access to the features you desire most. Check out "Free & Paid Membership Information" . Make this a favorite so you can review it at any time, and find it when you need it. (By the way, you can add this to your Favorites by clicking on the link Add to My Favorites at the bottom of the page just above the Comment box.)
I've mentioned this before but the thing is the target audience for Noticing Newbies is always changing. The best information in the world is not helpful if buried in some archive that no one sees.
There are two parts to this Table. The first is Membership Level Comparisons; the second is Membership Pricing.
There are five membership levels available at WDC: Free, Basic, Upgraded, Premium and Premium Plus. Each level depicts the features available to that level, and in some cases, the size or number of that available feature. These are listed in columns for each level on the right. Your current membership level is highlighted differently from the remaining levels for ease of viewing.
All the features are listed by major category in the far left column. Categories include Portfolio, Items, Author Tools, Email, Communication, Surfing Writing.Com, Standing Out, and Community Interaction.
A check mark () indicates that feature is available to that membership level. A number (10) or size (250MB) designation means that feature is available but limited to that number or size of the item. Finally, boxes without any checks or numbers indicate that feature is not available to that level.
Obviously the higher your membership level, the more available features you would have.
After you've determined which features you desire, you can review the cost for that level at the bottom of the chart. Pricing is broken down by Three-month, Six-month or Annual options. Again, your current level is highlighted. Additional information, including Payment Options, is located below Membership Pricing.
You can upgrade your account by clicking on the link UPGRADE YOUR ACCOUNT! . Often, a further savings option is highlighted by Move up & Save! , usually located on the next higher level.
Whatever you desire from Writing.Com, this table is a great way to compare features with current pricing, allowing you to select the membership level option best suited to your needs. Whatever you choose, I wish you the best of luck in all your writing endeavors.

Thanks for spending time with me today. At the bottom of every newsletter is a section entitled
followed by a text box. If you liked what you read (or if you didn't), please take time and drop me a line. I'd love to hear your ideas.
From the mailbag:
From W.P. Gerace : Greetings Jace, I do hope you are doing well today. I want to wish you much happiness and success on your retirement this summer. I always enjoy your newsletters and look forward to more of them. Thanks for all that you do. Happy Retirement. :) Yours Truly,
Bill G.
From JCosmos : Congratulations on retirement. I retired early at age 60 and have been enjoying it. COVID put a crimp on lots of plans but we survived and are getting back into travel after hiding out here in Korea. Been doing a lot of writing and blogging as well. best of luck.
Thank you to you both. I really appreciate your encouragement.
From the Newsfeed:
From scifiqueen: I definitely plan to complete Duality, my Thanksgiving mystery, which I'd like to publish on November 1. I'm brainstorming and researching another scifi thriller tentatively titled Singularity. But it's a pretty big novel/concept, so I'm not sure if I'll start writing this summer or wait until Duality is published to start that one.
Good luck to you both.
From keyisfake : This summer I want to write book eight in my detective series.
Good luck to you both.
From s : Whatever comes to my head. Mind you, summer is still 6 months away, so who knows what'll be happening come December?
Too true. Life comes at us fast and hard sometimes.
From Katie R Davis : I have to put everything in my book present tense instead of past tense. If I can figure it out.
Sounds like a big change. I hope it all works out for you.
From Mousewitch : Working on the thousand and one projects I have started....
I believe that's my big reason for retiring--to pursue ALL the interests I still have.
From EchiekonTamu Wenrich -Clegg : Continue working on my mini-series (horror), work on writing some plays and some journalism.
From Em Catrin : I want to work on actually turning my novel idea into words on paper :) It's okay, I'll only cry a lot. lol
