About This Newsletter

September was a rough month physically. I had issues that prevented me from eating a full meal. I handled those diffuculties by going to a doctor and praying.


Letter from the editor

Each individual has their own way of handling the physical, mental, and spiritual tests they encounter in daily life. Some people just push ahead hoping they will go away. Other people stop, say prayers, and meditate. I am one of the people who prays and meditates before making a decision on what to do.

This time the decision about going to a doctor was taken out of my hands. The nurses and doctors at the skilled nursing facility live in were able to find a specialist to see. I went to the doctor and he requested CT scan. I will go back when the specialist gets the results of the scan. In the meantime I have been prescribed some meds that help aleivate the problem. I see this as the working of God's will in my life.

How do you handle tests and difficulties? I can say, from experience, that just pushing ahead and hoping the problem goes away has never worked for me. I need to pray, meditate, and consult someone, either a spiritual adviser or a professional. If the way you deal with tests and difficulties is not working for you then try a different method.
