As I read through the explanation page of the above, I thought "Therapy? I don't need therapy. I know exactly who I am!" So I decided to do the same assignment the author was given: "Write about me." While I do not have bipolar disorder, nor am I manic depressive, I discovered issues about myself and in my life that need to be addressed. While I think we all have some matters that could warrant attention, hopefully none are of a serious nature. I think I'll take up lifewriter's "invitation to join me on a short but exciting, and fun life changing exercise." If anything, it's peaked my curiosity, so, how about it, want to come along and give it a try? QUESTIONS, ANSWERS, FEEDBACK AND A LITTLE CHATTER ...AND NOW... ** Image ID #758245 Unavailable ** A Little Chit-Chat From Me To You THE NAME GAME "Ok, Pam you have your choice.” David’s given me the option of a DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING, or the boat I have been hinting about all winter long. I ask you girls, which would you choose? Call me crazy, but I chose the boat. Ever since we moved into our little house by the sea, my eyes have been drawn to any craft, of any length, with a ‘for sale’ sign on it. I have ogled row boats, sail boats, jet skies, yachts, and even a barge. Last weekend, David brought me to a little marina a few miles from the house. There, front and center, was a 20 foot SeaRay with those familiar words ‘For Sale’ on it’s side. “What do you think?” David asked inquiringly. After a thorough inspection, inside and out, I fell completely in love with her. Her long sleek body with blue interior and 175 horse power engine were all in perfect condition. Once a few dollars changed hands, the boat was mine. David and I walked around my treasure again and he remarked “Marie. What a lovely name for a boat.” That stopped me dead in my tracks. I hadn’t noticed this minor detail before. But there it was, in large bold script near the stern. MARIE. In my best third degree voice, I asked accusingly, “Who is Marie?” After all, in my mind it was already ‘The Pamela Anne.’ “Huh...what...err...nothing dear.” Men! That innocent little smirk on his face didn’t fool me. Does he really think I’ll just let this sleeping dog lay?. All right ladies, did you make your choice yet? Well here’s a little secret. You don’t have too, and neither do I. For me, it’s a ‘win-win’ situation. You see, David and I are planning our wedding. I get my diamond after all. Oh, and for liking the name Marie over Pamela Anne, I also get a consolation prize. A honeymoon in Hawaii. Okay David, “What’s your favorite name again?” Until next month, keep entering those contests, and remember the Three Commandments of Writing.com: READ, WRITE, REVIEW Have a question or comment for the Editor? http://www.Writing.Com/main/newsletters.php?action=nli_form To stop receiving this newsletter, go into your account and remove the check from the box beside the specific topic.
