Ask & Answer

And from the mailbox about my last Noticing Newbies newsletter, "What's Your Comfort Zone?Open in new Window..

From Quick-Quill Author Icon: Kudos for a great Newsletter. I love that you are encouraging to those just starting out. I don't remember, but it would be great if every new person that enrolled on WDC was assigned this "newbies" newsletter. I missed so much until I found the Newsletter section.

That would be nice. *Smile* But for now we just rely on word of mouth. Of course, I hope you folks check out all the newsletters. You never know where that next idea will come from.

From BIG BAD WOLF Feeling Thankful Author Icon: I remember my first real "Negative" review- basically the guy claimed that there was no way a human could ever hope to kill a dragon. I'll show it to you if you ask. I looked at that person and said, "Somebody lost every D+D match they played." I ignored them, and continued writing the story. Seems enough people like it, as they keep reading it.

Indeed....

From Zheila Author Icon: Hi Jace; You always do give good advice.

Thank you very much. *Bigsmile*

From myrddin_sr: Thanks Jace for the help in the news letter I'm new and it is very helpful. Keep up the good work in helping us newbies.

Always my pleasure, my friend. Good luck with all your writing endeavors.

That's great. Check them out.

From dogwalker Author Icon: Uh - my comfort zone? When it's quiet and I can think / write / rewrite / to my hearts content or I need to do something else. Sometimes an idea comes while driving that's interesting; I have to keep it in mind while navigating the streets & roads. Got a poem for my wife that way once though I guess it's O.K.
Enjoyed the article though. there's too much of WDC to explore all at once! Sort of like moving to a strange town. Learn the major streets first, then the side roads, alleys, dead ends etc. You never know, a pleasant surprise might be just around the corner, over that hill, down that by-way. :)

Well said, my friend.
