Letter from the editor

Never before did I think about that one person whom I'd like to sit down and ask questions of, dead or alive. When asked that question recently, my own shocked response hadn't been Johnny Depp. Instead I said Stephen King.

I'm not sure where it came from. I just know that I would love to talk to him about writing, his own experience, and how and where he gets his ideas from. Not many of us are fortunate enough to meet the person who'd show us the way or just to fulfill our dream of sitting down with them to have a conversation.

From what I've gathered around the site, this being a poetry month, some of our fellow members took it upon themselves to sit during lectures and readings of some famous and not so famous poets. I know that many of us would love to hear about their experience and what they've learned from them.

My personal experience hadn't been the most pleasant one, but if I could ever sit down with Stephen King I'd love to know what his thoughts were before he became a famous writer.

'Til next time!
