Put Some Pep in Your Step

You have heard these excuses a thousand times.

You have given these excuses a thousand times.

The worst one: "I am not good enough."

The lamest one: "I don't want to try."

The saddest one: "It's always the same people who win - never me."

How do you overcome those bad self talk habits? You Put Some Pep in Your Step!

1. Search for any and all contests that trigger even the smallest bit of creativity in you. Put them in your favorites.
2. Force yourself to write something for a contest. Any contest.
3. Submit your writing.
Repeat steps 2 & 3 as often as possible.

Can you do one a day? Ambitious! Go for it!
Can you do one per week? Yes, yes, yes. There has to be time for you to write once a week.
Can you do one each month? Make it a good one. You have over four weeks to draft, write, edit, polish, and submit with time to spare.
