Letter from the editor

Under normal conditions moving and mice are not funny. However, since I am prone to hysterical laughter when under stress, I find moving, mice, and myself hilarious. In fact, when I am under stress I find a number of rather odd and weird things funny, that I would not laugh at under non-stressful conditions. For me, the good thing about hysterical laughter is that it relieves my stress, and--eventually--I stop laughing.

One of the amusing things about mice is that you cannot catch them when you are watching the trap. You can set out a sticky mousetrap, or for that matter any other type of mousetrap, and watch the trap all day or all night. The mouse will walk around the trap while you are watching either the trap or the mouse. It will walk around the trap, sit down on the other side, and laugh at you.

Yes! Mice laugh. I know that sounds weird. You can laugh if you want, because I know the mice are laughing. At least, the ones that allowed themselves to be caught in the sticky traps. They are outside laughing. They are also looking for another apartment because they are not getting back into this one. All their entrances are either caulked or stopped up with steel wool.

Laughter the best medicine:
For relieving stress
Try a good hysterical belly laugh.
