Letter from the editor

A sprinkle of laugh at the start.

While many readers love drama, many will choose and prefer to find also the lighter side or a bit of sense of laughtiness, or silliness in a story.

It's not been easy to notice at first but while continuing to read a story that already blocks the flow of adrenaline since the start, the reader may notice or feel the boredoms at the middle part which leads the story to become uninteresting at the end.

Sprinkling some laugh or a bit of humor may hook your reader which create an ice break to follow and continue to read the story.

Here are some few tips for you to consider on how can you add or sprinkling some laughtiness and silliness to hook and hold your readers mind until the end.

*Bullet* 1. Through laugh-tough names - Laugh-tough names are just only some funny names that grip a readers attention, we can create them and gave them a funny appeal to enhance the humor in the story.
Remember some nursery rhyme or name that rhymes that can enhance also the personality of the character, like skinny jane- from the word skinny jeans which give an impression to be thin, bon-bon reminds me of a cute fat boy.

And how about the handle names of WdC Authors, though sometimes it changes through season when change, you can change them too and add some funny lines to make an appeal to be fun. I hope my humble handle name will always remind you of a silly fairy. *Smirk*

*Bullet* 2. Through emo-shifter of the character's mood - this explains the mood of the character or the mood in the story that sometimes we can twist it to be on the funny side, for example in a scene in a story that intended to be the mood by the author is brokenness, if the story is drama we just follow the flow of the mood but writing it in the comedy, the author can able to switch it from brokenness into being amusing in where audience can reflect its humorousness.

*Bullet* 3. Through scene or plot of the story -this is somehow can be intended to be funny, or silly, just create a plot or scene of a story that can be funny.

*Bullet* 4. Through adding some famous jokes or cliche- some are already old jokes and already become now a cliche, but adding some old jokes sometimes in a story can still create a good laugh and be enjoyable to your reader.

There are some many other things on how you can sprinkle a laugh in your story, but the most important is our mood in creating it.
Our sense of humor will not be reflected in any writings if we are not in the mood to do it, so better be happy all the time to make other's happy too. *Heart*
