When should I start The Orange Islands path? A Pokémon question.

Poll Question:
As I re-familiarise myself with this Region, I was surprised to learn they went there one episode before the actual season that focuses on it. So, when should I start this pathway?

Valencia Island
The first island they landed on and the one where Professor Ivy does her research into Regional Variants.

Tangelo Island
The very next island that actually starts out Adventures in the Orange Islands.
