If Gen two/four had three new Kanto Trainers, who would they be?

Poll Question:
This question came about when I thought about how in HGSS, you can visit Pallet Town and get a Kanto Starter. So, this got me thinking if I should do a 'Future Kanto' story that takes place during Ethan's journey. If I was to do this, which trio should I use?

Let's Go
I take Chase, Elaine, and Trace from the Let's Go games and have them use the Kanto Starters instead of Pikachu/Eevee

I Choose You!
I take Sorrel, Verity, and Cross from the I Choose You! movie, with Sorrel being the Protag and Cross being the Rival.

Semi-Original
I use Ashley (Ash's female persona), Leaf (who will be seperate from Green), and Yellow (who should have shown up in the Let's Go games!)
