I am the stay-at-home mom of three wonderful, intelligent, highly active children.
My oldest just turned four and is working on learning to read. She adores books. She also loves to color pictures (and walls) and write stories. She is very intelligent and easily devises ingenious ways to do things she shouldn't.
My middle is two and a half, exactly eighteen months younger than his sister. He is very active and loves to run and play. He, too, is very smart; he can identify many letters of the alphabet and the sounds they make. He tends to take backseat to his sister, who gets most of the attention when we go out, but he is just as smart.
My youngest is just over six months. I can tell he will be a handful. He's still working on crawling, but I think the problem is that he is far too ready to go. He prefers to army crawl or, even better, have his big sister carry him around.
Those are my kids. That is my life. These are my poems.
