Reviewing

          I have so far been on this site three days. I have read only eleven pieces and have reviewed each and every one of them.

          I have a piece of work, that so far has been reviewed once, this is acceptable, after all it has only been three days. You can tell by the name that I use that I prefer Fantasy and will also read Sci-Fi, however after checking out the review pages I have read a story about lesbianism and one where a woman was persecuted by her family due to an inability to conceive. I have many responses to my reviews (my thanks to you all) and have had several people ask me to start a workshop.

          I wouldn't know where to begin. Sorry.

          Many of the authors that I have reviewed have responded with very positive returns and this is encouraging. I believe that this site is used to not only allow aspiring writers to gain an audience, but to also receive feedback. I review because I feel that is what this site is about and it makes me better at editing my own work.

          So, to let every writer on this site know that I, Silver Wolf, will review EACH AND EVERY piece of work that is requested. All my reviews will appear in the public review page UNLESS requested not to. I WILL help on all things (I'm not good at Poetry or Lyrics) from basic spell-checking (although there is one on this site) through to punctuation and grammer. If your story doesn't flow well, never fear, I will try to help. Further I will also look for logical mistakes where a character is described in one paragraph and then their physical description changes in another (probably just an accident). I will ask you questions that I as a reader of your work would like to know the answers to, what was Dave doing whilst Kammy was picking flowers ??? If to you the writer these details are not necessary to the story/plot then all well and good.

I am NOT a professional writer, I have only been writing for seven months !!! And I have not got anything published, my first attempt at writing is on this site, and yes reviews are welcome.
