destruction.

Untold dead.

Thousands of homeless and

hurting victims.

Little souls lost

and big ones searching

Millions of souls crying.

A slow response from all government

Shooters, looters, rapists

making the news so sensational.

The blame game begins.

I want to scream at the TV

I pray and pray.

A part of my soul wounded.

A part of my nation wounded and hurting.

A part of my world turned upside down.

And then

Thousands of souls

reach out

offering

money,

homes,

bedrooms,

jobs,

food.

America.

It's not

democrats,

republicans, or

libertarians.

It's not

catholics,

methodists,

muslims,

buddhists,

lutherans or the

Jewish.

It's not white,

black,

brown,

or red

The lines that separate

you and me

blur...

and we are

one soul

one nation

One world.

We all have the same soul.
