I'll Be Raining On You..

When you sleep,
you feel my breath
on your cheek...
whispering
all you want to hear.
When you dream
I'll be there,
I'll hold you sweetly
and I'll be raining down on you.

And when you smile,
I'll run my fingers through your hair-
here we are laughing, unaware
of future problems and future mistakes,
but we can work through them anyway.

When I close my eyes,
I see you standing there,
and you are offering me your hand
because you know I can't make it on my own.

I like how you know
my voice over the phone,
and you can tell when I am crying
and when I am smiling...
so then why am I killing you inside?

But those memories
that we have...
resurface inside of me,
and push away
sad memories,
for the good shall always
outlast the bad.

And when things get too hard,
count on me to be there,
because when two people
become so close together
they become one.
When you complete a person..
you can never take that little piece of you back.
It shall remain there for forever.
