The Eye

When the heart is heavy and there is no way to cry,
The heart still lies broken behind the eye.
The tears can’t come out, there’s no way to let go,
So you swallow your pain, no emotions you show.
You never forget, you just learn to get by,
When the heart remains heavy and there is no way to cry.
You just treasure the great times, and laugh at the bad,
No use to get angry, no use to get mad.
One thing you remember the rest of your life,
A smile on the face can disguise all the strife.
Others can’t feel it, they don’t understand
But you smile anyway, the best that you can.
When the heart is heavy and there is no way to cry,
