"This Feeling"

It's something in the distance,
Like your true love's final kiss
Something you can't imagine
A pit where everything's amiss

A notion of being watched
A shadow in day's bright light
A demonic eye just staring
And a shrill whisper in the night

An ultrasonic growl,
a faint dead child's scream
A looming fog at midnight
Makes you wish that it's a dream

A restless soul that wanders
A packs' howl at the moon
A prickly mysterious chill
That you're fading away too soon

A tainted, gone forever face.
The worst is knowing that its real
A missing chunk of life
Is the feeling that I feel
