The Road Ahead

The road may wind,
and you may find
shadows block your path;

But if you look
beyond their hook,
alone they'll leave your heart.

For hearts that fear
the shadows near,
never will be whole;

So take my hand
and understand
this road leads to your soul.

We'll make roads straight,
we'll challenge fate
of what has always been;

So in your heart
shadows depart
and you've learnt from those you've seen.

It may be rough,
it may be tough,
but I'm right here with you;

Know in your heart
