I thought I knew you, Ocean
But your storm knocked me off my feet
I thought I knew your waters
But they drowned me in my sleep
I thought I knew your sandy shores
But they blinded both my eyes
I thought I knew your deepest depth
But I've barely breached your sky!
I cannot know your many faces
Because they always change
But deep down inside of you
Is where you'll always be the same.
