Let It Go

I forgave, I forgot
So why do I still remember.
It’s over, It’s gone
Then why can’t I forget.
I’m haunted by the memory.

Then a voice comes.
‘Let it go, let it go it’ whispers
‘You’ll make it till morning.’

‘I can’t,’ I cry.
‘It won’t go away,
I’ll never forget.’

‘It’s okay, It’s alright,’
The voice says again.
‘No need to fear
you're forgiven, let it go.’

So finally I let it go.
It’s not my fault.
I’m forgiven, it will be okay.
‘Thank you, God!’
