I am a hopeless romantic in the sense that I long for those who may never feel the same.
The exchange of playful glances
Followed by bashful afterthoughts.
The catching of each other's eyes,
Like an affectionate game of tag.

Visions of spending time together
Running through each other's minds.
Watching the sun rise above the horizon,
Long walks on the beach, hand in hand.

A sense of mystery between two strangers,
Searching for the soul of the other's being.
Waiting for the other's destined approach,
Hoping for a certain connection to be made.
