Through the words of surrender
I take a journey to find what’s really
inside me, twisting and jerking,
what bites at my mind and stings me,
leaving swells made of painful reminiscence.
Some would say that the mind is heaven,
but it’s not quite what it’s made out to be.
Here everything is perfect but
nothing seems quite right.
Everything becomes surreal.
I take a journey to put the pain in its place
because I’ve had enough.
I can’t just walk away from it
and leave it to rot
I have to destroy it,
every, last, bit.
I can tell you
that right now,
It’s not quite so pretty here.
