Let's be uncomfortable

We arranged this date for eight but now I'm running late... boy do I feel uncomfortable.

And so I see you there and you’re twiddling your hair... does this mean you’re uncomfortable?

I sit here bum in my seat with my eyes on my feet... now that’s uncomfortable!

Because you seem quite aloof and perhaps I act the goof but come we both know the truth - It’s just you’re quiet and shy and I’m an awkward guy... let's be uncomfortable.

Okay I buy you a drink and then I start to think... do I feel less uncomfortable?

But we have awkward smiles and distant eyes on our dials... no, it's still uncomfortable.

People say that you're meek but to me it’s quite sweet... it makes me feel a little less uncomfortable.

Perhaps we should try and kiss and in my mind this sounds bliss... but it would probably be uncomfortable.

Lets move on to vodka and ice to take the edge off this night... we're bound to feel less uncomfortable.
