When you say you that you love me!

Just wanted everyone to know that I was inspired to write this after I read Captivating and listened to Josh Groban's "When You Say You Love Me". Josh you are my favorite.

When you say that you love me I ask myself why?
Why me and all my imperfections/
Why everything about me that I view ugly?
Why do you pursue me so?

When you say that you love me I want to hide.
I don't feel worthy of it,
Nor do I wish to deny the thing I long for.
Your completion to my life and who I am.

When you say that you love me, I don't fully understand,
How can you love a woman like me and smile?
I don't feel captivating; though you make me feel so.
You make me feel like I am beautiful.

When you say that you love me I want to cry.
For now I fully understand your reasons why
You claim me to be captivating and beautiful.
A prize and treasure that you have uncovered.
One that you have always known to be there.

When you say that you love me I sit and smile.
For now I feel that I am beautiful and lovely.
I don't know how you can love me, but I don't care.
Right now as you speak to me,
I finally know why I'm alive.

It is when you say that you love me true and true.
