This is a song I wrote in the middle of class. :) Hope you enjoy it.
Little Beth - Is a mess
She doesn't know it's for the best
So she's running & she's screaming
She won't stop to take a breath
She's got a heart of gold
But it's breaking piece by piece
She's got a view of this world
That's distorted and Misleading.
O-oh Beth
Take a look around
& maybe you will see
Bring your feet back to the ground
& listen to me.
Little Beth - is a mess
She'll never know it's just a test
So she's paniced and crying
You'll never find her
Cause she's hiding
She was told what to do
But she can't remember now
She can make it on her own
She just can't remember how.
O-oh Beth
Take a look around
& Maybe you will see
Bring your feet back to the ground
& listen to me
Little Beth - Is a mess
& she needs to get some rest
She's undercover, undiscovered
Oh my god, she's scared to death
At 22 years old
She thought she had it figured out
She could of sworn he wasn't real
But now she has no doubt.
O-oh Beth
Take a look around
& maybe you will see
Bring your feet back to the ground
& listen to me
Little Beth - Is a mess
But she knows it's for the best
Should of trusted should of dusted
That old Bible on her desk
Everyone has disappeared
But little Beth was left here
Everyone you ever knew
Trusted him
Beth- why not you?
O-oh Beth
Take a breath
One more chance to pass the test
Hit your knees- say a prayer
Thank God that he's still there
O-oh Beth
You shouldn't doubt
God meant it when he shout
Must ask my son- to get to me
Now pick your eternity.
Oh Beth!
