Flights of fancy and ill temper |
The sun slides over the window sill, bringing a glow to the whole room. Teshla flutters about the room, straightening things as she goes. Teshla is a nymph, six inches tall with bright red wings. long and lean as nymphs go, her eyes are as blue as the sky. Her skin is a pale, powder blue, hair a deep rich purple. Although nymphs come in many colors, she thinks that her coloring is perfect. Fluttering near the mirror, that hangs over the fireplace, she admires herself and smiles at her reflection. She has on a red and blue tunic that barely covers her well-formed rear end. Cut low in the front, she can see the cleavage of her buxom chest. She is quite proud of herself. Rynson watches Teshla from the doorway, a smile crosses his lips. He clears his throat and steps into the room. "Oh! My Lord. Everything is as you asked. No one will know of the human's presence here." Teshla flutters high into the room and hovers near the top. "Is there anything else you require? My Lord." "No, you may go." Rynson waves his hand and crosses the room to where a young boy is sleeping in the bed. Rynson pays no attention to Teshla fluttering out the window and off to the east. She flies as fast as she can toward the forest, her heart beating loudly in her ears. Rynson watches Gabriel sleep, he knows the boy will not wake up. A spell has been placed on the mind of the human. Rynson can not allow the boy to roam freely until the council has been informed. After Falco brought the boy to him, he closed the portal; Gabriel's world for good. There had been too much damage on the human side of the cave to put the protection spell back on the portal. Rynson knew this day would come, his feelings are mixed about what to do next. Thinking about the prophesy, Rynson walks to the mirror Teshla was so lost in, only moments ago. His gaze is not as pleasing as hers. The years of his age are shown in the lines on his face. It has been a long time to be hiding in this god-forsaken place. He looks at the mirror, deep into his blood colored eyes, they do little to hide his sorrow. It was not him that wanted to have the council informed. Gabriel is the reason he came here to the Temple of Gildamere. He had heard of the prophesy many years ago in Serinetah in the shadow lands. He was a boy and knew little of the outside world. He still retains the ghostly pale, white skin of his people, and still has the raven black hair. His eyes look tired in the mirror; his face old and wrinkled. His breath is ragged, and his heart heavy, the deep red of his eyes are faded. |
